This train stopped right there on the tracks for about an hour in front of our house. I did some research and there are whole flickr groups and web-sites devoted to pictures of these types of trains. (Norfolk-Southern, Conrail). Here's a bit of info about the
"Operation Lifesaver" locomotive.
