Hansi was extremely well-behaved o n the drive back down to Oxford. Unfortunately he dropped his cookies after Bill got lost and we had to drive along some pretty windy roads...poor fellow.

I am not sure whether the batter was vegan. The dip certainly wasn't but I had some anyway. These were fried portobello mushroom strips and they were good...Eaten at Cascarelli's in Albion with Adrienne G.

I truly enjoyed the few days of quality time I got to spend with our little furry girl Mieze. She is such a sweet cat. Having been back in Ohio for a while I do midd her, probably more than my two spoiled boy cats do...

Wow this does feel like it was a long while ago--and I guess it was....the weather in Michigan was quite chilly during the week I was there. (Right now we're in the middle of a March heat-wave...) I enjoyed being back home and being able to watch the backyard wildlife from my kitchen window.

Confession time: the pics are a bit off here....Bill actually came on Friday and this picture is actually from Saturday. I've been having a bit of a hard time keeping up and also keeping things interesting...but I still don't want to give the pic-a-day project. /if all you see are Georgie and Hansi pics plus the occasional food shot in a way that's OK because it is a reflection of my life right now...busy!
